Pro Tools 8HD to 10HD upgrade?
 

Hello,

I currently have a Pro Tools 8HD license.

I would like upgrade to V10HD. I'm curious what my options are and if an upgrade path is available and at what cost?

Is a perpetual licence available for V10HD.

I am still using an Accel TDM system.

Current upgrades (Reinstatements) are only available for Pro Tools 9HD and upwards, so your best option is to buy a used Pro Tools 10HD license.

Ignore any eBay advert offering EITHER Windows OR Mac versions – genuine licenses include both OS.

Only buy from eBay Sellers who have lots of sales and excellent eBay Feedback.
Pay with PayPal, so you can get a refund, if you don’t get what’s advertised.

If you need your Pro Tools 10HD license in your Avid account, there’s the extra cost of a Transfer of Ownership form (T.O.O.) that includes Transfer of Software Ownership

If you are selling a used system, you should fill out the seller's portion of the Transfer of Ownership Form and include it with the sale. After both buyer and seller have completed and signed the Transfer of Ownership form, it will need to be submitted to Avid for processing. Be sure to complete all the required information to ensure your transfer can be completed. Incomplete forms may not be processed.
