quick question needs quick answer
 
right now i have 4 vocal tracks and i want to bus them all to the same track, my question is, two of them are panned, will this panning be picked up on in the track i bus them all to? and shoudl it be a mono or stereo track? someone help quick, i'm mixing right now.

If you bus to a stereo track everything should be fine.

one more thing, should i delete all the old tracks once i have them all on the same track?

By "bussing" them the original tracks are still being used and routed internally ( in the mixer ).
Only BTD will create a new set of tracks ! Then...you could "remove" the originals from the session.
I would however still keep them on the disk...just in case .

Bus them to a stereo Audio track and record the pass.
No need to BTD.

You can delete the originals after that if you're absolutely sure you won't need them again.

Yes, as stated above. BUT, why delete the old tracks? Disk space is cheap. To save the voiceable 32 tracks, simply disable the original tracks. Then you can always revert to them should you need them...

ok, now's where i ask.... what's BTD? if the answer is blatantly obvious i apologize for my pro tools ignorance.

BTD is Bounce To Disc.

It's in the File-menu and choosing that will play the entire sesison (or a selection) and record (or bounce) that to disc using the parameters you set.
