Ok, now for the final plug for BFD.

man, I am not much of a Maiden fan honestly but the track sounds awesome as far as quality goes.
you are just going through Amplitube and doing all your drums with BFD you said? gotta love technology. lol I guess if I could get hold of Autotune and BFD I might be set then. heheh

No amplitube! It has it's place, but I'm not a big fan of that. I'm old school when it comes to guitars. Les Pauls and Marshals, in my case a Metaltronix M-1000 head, which is esentially a Lee Jackson hot roded JCM 800 with a couple extra bells. But yes, the drums are all midi with the BFD plug. Thanks for listening though.

Jason "the Ole' School" Wanker!

Good deal bud..... Glad that you are posting.. Now we need to do a compilation "Shy Boy" heheheh

You get the drums, and I will play the guitar parts... Can still play that for the most part. Got the harmonizer too... heheh... Never had that in High School.

Here's the newest project I'm working on; they are a folk group called Coup de Grass. They laid down the bed tracks for a 4 song demo tonight, and I really like them so far. Here is what they are doing with the classic tune "Summertime." No vocals yet, but what vocals they were rehearsing looks promising. Unfortunately they are not coming back into the studio for a couple of weeks, so this will have to do for now.

Nice to hear Straato, but... don't you think it looks a bit like a (still very soft) jam session ?
The name is excellent, but the solos are sometimes a bit, well... let's say IMHO it still needs work !

straato, I really enjoyed that song! The lead guitar has a good groove and the song itself indeed have a very relaxed feel. Man, gotta listen to it again...

jstunner,
Man! Don't hide the link to your songs, I was looking in three pages for Run to the hills
It's been a while since I heard the original but man you play it GOOD! I like those drums in the intro, very cool. I think the guitar should be dominating a bit more during the solo though... But I'm no expert.

I think the vocals need some work.
Cool graphics though.

Thanks for your input Wicked, but they are a folk jam band. I am sure that the song is going to take on an entirely different feel once they add their vocals. They are doing this as a demo, and only running one or two takes per song to keep a 'live' feel.

Thanks Stiff ... I really had fun with this bunch. They are genuinely nice and fun people.
