A quick question for any Logic Control users...

Thinking about taking the plunge with a Logic Control, my one question is.... does the HUI emulation program run nice and invisibly in the background, taking up little or no noticable processor overhead? Also, can anyone who is already using Logic Control with PT please testify to it's smooth integration into a digidesign setup. I don't want to shell out all that cash (quite a lot including the obligatory LAP5) only to find that it's slow, buggy and half-implemented.

Cheers y'all,

matt.

Appreciate the heads up Kickin' but I'm across the water in London, UK.

So? Can't you walk on water?

Ok, then, "oops"! And BTW, say Hello to London from me. I love that city. I wish I could live there!

I have been succesfully using both PTLE 5.1 and Logic Control. The midi implementation is fine, and there is no noticable drain on the CPU. I would say that this is a really great option for PTLE users, as the touch-sensitive motorized faders are nice.

The only thing is. . .it works so well with Logic (of course, as it is designed to) that to me the PT integration feels slightly clumsy. I have not worked with other "generic" control surfaces, so my first experience is with a fully integrated solution. I guess this makes me biased.

For certain, this is a better unit than the MotorMix, so I would heartily recommend it to any PTLE user. Plus, getting Logic is a good idea as well.

London's a pretty kickin' place, Kickin'. I'm originally from Scotland though, so I do miss the serenity of the hills... great for ruining completely by bashing around on a drumkit for hours on end! No soundproofing needed.
