Professional/Affordable Home Studio Desks?
I've got a bedroom that I've pretty much dedicated as a home studio (with a bed in it lol). I have a larger studio separate from home, but in my home-studio I tend to work with MIDI and some audio recording here and there. What are some good-sized, professional, yet affordable desks for a home studio? I prefer to have rack space separate from the desks, or on the sides rather than in the center of the desk (if I decided to go with a desk with built-in racks). Another thing worth mentioning is, I'd like to have space on the desk (or perhaps in a pull out drawer) for an 88-key keyboard. This would be nice because I don't think I have enough bedroom space to house a separate keyboard stand comfortably. I'd love to find a good enough desk that is under $1k, but I've even found ones around $800 (which is still a bit expensive for me right now). Any thoughts or recommendations? I'd greatly appreciate it.

I'd suggest looking at Argosy or Sterling Modular. Whatever you get don't buy cheap chip-board desks as they'll fall apart in time. Chip board is what the tables are made out of that wrestlers use in the ring.

Check out Platform from Output. I got one a few years ago and love it.
