AIR Instruments DMG
 

Hi,
i've been using protools since 1999 until 2015.

Lot of my stuff was saved in PT11 with AIR Virtual Instruments and Effects such as:
Structure, Xpand2, Boom, DB-33, Vacuum.

i just upgraded with a Pro Tools Studio 1-Year Software Updates reinstatement and
i'll be using a MacBookPro16,1 i9 2,3 Ghz with 64 GB of RAM currently on Catalina.

in My Product Page i see only a 2019.2 AIR Instruments DMG :confused:

is that a to be used even with more recent version of PT like 2022.4 or should i look better for a specific "2022" AIR Instrument DMG ?

That's probably the most recent version. I checked my own Avid account and the version I have available to download is listed as 19.12.

I recently did a complete installation and went to Air's site for the latest versions:

Click each product name -- the install files are toward the bottom of their page.

OK i'm up and running thanks to this wonderful forum :-)

i decided to stay with macOS 10.15.5 Catalina and
little away from cutting edge options so i choose: PT Studio 2021.12 and Waves V13

For those who may ask i just downloaded and installed in this order:
- ilok_LicenseSupportInstallerMac.zip
- Pro_Tools_2021.12.0_Mac.dmg
- First_AIR_Instruments_Bundle_19.12_Mac.dmg
- XPand_II_19.12_Mac.dmg
- Install_Waves_Central.dmg

Since the os was kinda 'clean install' (even if two years old) all steps went smooth as silk
everything fine, for the moment at least :D

fortunately Avid condensed many of the AIR instrument in the above installer, just XPand_II has an independent dmg.

P.S. I also downloaded the AIR_Effects_Bundle_2022.2_Mac.dmg but not installed it yet, do you know what is it ?

Indeed, but since that's an old installer I don't know if its versions are the latest. That was the reason I went to the source (Air) for any updates they might have, and don't quote me on this but I believe Air's site had some more recent versions. It's worth checking.

The Effects bundle is their chorus, flanger, talk box, etc. The effects.

Those versions on Air's page look more recent than what's in my Avid account page - thanks for the link! Only problem for me is that after downloading and installing Xpand2 from AIR's site, I get a window when loading Pro Tools asking for an Authorization key, which I don't have. I had to go back to the version from Avid's site.
