I installed it on my macpro (2019) and the MTRX works... cant see any differences at all, but if anyone can chime in on what this update is about... plz.

This version has not yet been tested and released by Avid for MTRX and MTRX Studio.

Just below the download link of this build it says "This version is still in beta and has not yet been tested and released by Avid for MTRX and MTRX Studio.".

So funny, I have like 20k worth of their gear and absolutely no email from DAD about this. I have even asked then to let me know when it's available.
I hope it fixed the freezes when closing issue I have been having on both 2022.4 and 2022.5. I usually have to quite by force quit first time and then after that it does not hang up.. Sent them the crash report and to Avid. No real responses.

I heard that Avid was expecting this update and also most of the DAD stuff has not been really approved for Monterey as they recently emailed me about that and said just as much.

You are right. I just checked that it's not tested with PT. Seems like that would be part of the process since that is part of their client base. It's been exactly a year since there was an update.

Note: Runs on macOS: Monterey (12), Big Sur (11) (Intel and Apple Silicon), Catalina (10.15), Mojave (10.14), High Sierra (10.13), Sierra (10.12), El Capitan (10.11) and Yosemite (10.10).
This version is still in beta and has not yet been tested and released by Avid for MTRX and MTRX Studio.

ON the DAD site, but it was expected by Avid a month ago at least that this was coming. I dont' see a reason not to update, since there has been none for a year. I certainly will be updating.

Hey all

We've just not completed running it through our testing yet. Generally speaking it should be fine, just be aware that you may hit issues we are unaware of yet.

We were able to get lots of bug fixes into the software, as well as official Monterey support.

Ok Thanks. I may install it over the weekend. Is it a simple update to install? or anything with MTRX interface I need to be aware of that needs to happen first? BTW 12.4 is running fine here on Atmos work and also any other work I have been doing.

UPDATE Working fine here and the update was a snap. No firmware update then for MTRX or what that part of this install?
