Video Monitor for Mac Studio

I'm currently researching moving to the new Mac Studio. I like using duel 27" monitors especially with a 5K iMac. That said, I feel two of the new Apple Studio Displays would be overkill.

I am looking for suggestions on options that provide both resolution and real estate.

Thank you

Probably lots of opinions on this. I just went to a Mac Studio from a 27” iMac Retina, 5k. I bought an LG 27” Ultrafine and am quite happy with it. The adjustable stand works really well with the 2 layer work area.

The only thing I would warn about is that, depending upon your age, very high resolution monitors aren't always what you need.

I spent ages (and plenty of cash) finding a Mac to drive my 49" 32:9 monitor, at 5120x1440, only to discover that I can't really see it at that resolution, and instead I use 3840x1080. I could have saved money on the monitor and the Mac if I'd worked that out first.

[Two x 27" QHD monitors is the same as my one 49"]

You can always set the scale of a 4K/5K to a larger size in system preferences- that will make everything bigger.

I have a Dell and an LG monitor (both 31”) that look fantastic. The LG has been temperament but the Dell is solid.

The ASUS Especially the "Pro Art" series are very popular among video and photo editing folks for a very good, accurate color, budget display, and can be found for $300 to $400

I know several who got this specific model for their Mac Studio machines primarily audio and occasional music video
Note it can be connected HDMI or USB-C from the Mac Studio
I also prefer a two display setup and I would likely choose two of these
