Avid Fast Track Solo
Hello Avid Community,
I have two slight issues that I would love your help with because they are driving me mad. 1. When the input is turned up above about 3 quarters on the Avid box there is a constant underlying hiss. This happens on both channels with or without anything plugged into them, both when recording and live monitoring. e.g: I have a microphone plugged into line 1 and turn it up and there is the underlying hiss. I don't have anything plugged in on line 1 and turn it up there is still underlying hiss. 2. On line 1 (XLR) there is a very faint clicking sound, as well as the odd faint crackles and pops but these are sporadic and not very often, whereas the clicking is constant like a clock (and yes it definitely isn't a clock) its a sort of electrical zap click. Ground loop? I have tried different xlr cables and have tried different computers. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I can provide recordings if that would help.
