Digi Core Audio Manager
 

Digi Core Audio Manager launches everytime I start non-PTLE applications. Like iTunes and Quicktime etc. I have to manually shot them off to let the apps use the default built in audio.

Help me.

That's normal. Why would you want to use the built-in audio vs the Digi hardware?

You can uninstall the Core Audio Manager, but I see no reason to do so.

I don't carry my M-Box all the time. and simple playing of iTunes or playing Quicktime video shouldn't let me connect MBox. Can I pick and choose which audio device to use based on apps?

You don't need to uninstall core audio manager just go in to audio midi setup and make sure built in audio is set as the default audio. If this is set as the Mbox then all your apps will launch core audio when the Mbox is plugged in, this is whats happening to you.

there is no alternative audio device in my MIDI Audio Setiup.
