I attempted to install this last night but it's not working for me. I got down to #14 below but when I restart the settings dialog box doesn't pop up. When I try to play something from Media Player it either says that no audio hardware is installed or something else is using the audio and I should close it and that pro tools just crashed.

14) Hardware Installation dialog appears. Click "Continue Anyway". Restart.

The Digidesign WaveDriver Setting dialog will automatically open.

15) Click the Advanced button to open the I/O Setup dialog. (See How to Change WaveDriver Setting below for more information about these dialogs.)

Any advice? Thanks.

did you follow the exact procedure of installing Protools and the wavedriver?
