Strange Behaviour "Unable to create DAE Deck" Mac OS 9.2.2
 

This is a weird one. Under Mac OS 9.2.2, ona dual 500 G4, PT 5.1.1 throws up the "Unable to create DAE Deck" error message when i double click a session file from the Finder and PT fails to launch. However, if i launch PT by clicking its application icon, then select the session from the file menu everything is cool and my sesssion loads.

Under Mac OS 9.1, 9.2 and 9.2.1 double clicking a session file in the Finder launched PT and loads the session and does not thow up this dae deck error.

Anyone seen this behaviour? MY card is firmly seated btw.

I have seen that error message. The easiest thing to do is keep an alias of PT on the desktop and always launch PT first and open the session later.

I tried to make (force!) OS 9.2.2 to work for me for a month. I have many different kind of strange behaviors.(PTLE, OMS, etc...) Finally I gave up and now I'm back to 9.1......
