I am still fairly new at this so be patient with me:)On a particular recording of mine there is one spot where the vocalist went flat. Ick. This is a recording that was done years ago on analogue and i have recently transferred it to protools. I would like to adjust the pitch on the vocals in one small part. Any suggestions?
Of course it would be easy to just re-record the vocals, but at this point this is impossible.
Please advise:)

1. "AS" DIGIDESIGN PITCH SHIFT

OR

2. "RTAS" ANTARES AUTOTUNE

You can download the Antares Autotune demo here (http://www.antarestech.com/download/demo.html) . You have ten days to try it out. You should be able to put it in auto mode to tune the vocal automatically. If you want just one place, then automate the "bypass" and turn it on just where you need it, then back off. Be sure you bounce your corrected tract before the demo runs out so you have a permanent copy. Then reimport the bounced track with the corrected vocal and you are set.
