I have been told to turn this off, but I can't find it in my BIOS. I know I've seen it though. Anybody know where to look?

Thanks, Roy

Mine Is in the BIOS......but I have it turned on.......

not sure what it does, I think it makes the computer look for added hardware and prompts to install the drivers....

roy,

if you have an asus board, it usually hangs out under the boot menu. it'll be called something like 'Plug & Play O/S' and the options will be 'Yes' and, you guessed it, 'No'.

when you select No, the operating system is forced to accept the interrupts assigned by the BIOS.

hope that kinda explains it
