I am building a new system and intend to use the new ASUS A7V333-E Motherboard with the AMD Chipset VIA@ KT333 (North Bridge) and VIA@ KT8233A.
Here are a few Specs on this particular Motherboard:
1. ATA 133
2. Processor Support - Socket A for AMD Athlon
3. Onboard Promise 20276 ATA 133 RAID Controller
4. IDE Ports 2x Ultra DMA/133/100/66
Will this Chipset be able to run Pro Tools since Digi supports the VIA KT133 as stated on the compatibility page.
I also know that some people are using the VIA KT266 chipset even though its not mentioned at the compatibility page.
