I just bought a Dell and of course it came with XP. Being a computer expert I tried compatability mode which obviously does not work with the Digi001. I reformatted and put on Win98se and loaded PT.
Since I purchased PT last week, is Digi going to give me the XP version free when they come out with it?

I'm a PC person all the way but in this case I find myself saying...OH if only I bought a MAC.
PT is a pain in the ___ to configure/optimize on a PC.
Lesson learned.

If the computer is built with the right hardware in mind it should not be that hard to set up. XP support will be here in a couple of weeks so hang tight.

The PC was built with all of this in mind. However, I needed to know that DMA access has to be enabled and Busmastering has to be enabled. You know...operating system settings.
I just heard that it is much simpler on a MAC is all. Not that this was rocket science to setup or anything. images/icons/wink.gif
