Can anybody tell me what is going on ?
I bought an old Audiomedia card and send it to Digidesing for
update (trough dealer) . The card came back and it was updated .
Then I bought a Tascam 428 and was able to try my digi I/O .
When S/PDIF mirroring is on digi out is clear but when its off
theres a terrible noise (Cracking) on LEFT chanel.Whats up ?

Maybe the WaveDriver version?

Try version 1.6cs2 or higher from the WaveDriver download page (http://www.digidesign.com/download/wavdrv.html)

I bought my ToolBox XP with the AMIII new several months ago and have had your exact problem ever since, not at 44.1k though, only 48k.

Digi support, who have been very nice without actually solving my problem, originally were going to send me another card, but determined that many/most/all (not sure which) AMIII cards have this problem. So they never sent a replacement card.

Now they tell me they're trying to fix the problem with the next wave driver which should be available soon.

However, I'm not sure if this driver will be for XP only. I think it's possible that my card will never work properly in Win '98.

Well i got this problem in 44.1k and 48k.
I'd like to know what the update of the AM III
really do . I mean did I pay for nothing ?
Or did they updated my card at all?
My card "numbers" are BK12735 ,AMCC chip following number S5933QE , REV C ( D drawn ).
