Ok which should I be using??

I know XP is coming soon, but i'm getting a computer this week and want to start using my digi again now and I want to see how the XP upgrade will go with other users. Plus who know if my plug-ins will work under XP. Should I get 98SE or ME I saw under the thread best system under 900$ that ME is recommended. I always heard that ME was the worst OS.

Hi Phillipe,

I use ME with my Digi001 and I've had no problems at all. You may want to contact Digidesign with the specs of the computer you're thinking of purchasing. They might be able to save you some of the hassles.

I currently have a dell 733mhz with Win Me and PT worked great. I'm building a new system following the specs on the threads best computer for under 900$ and pt performance. I was just curious which OS I should use.

I would just go ahead and load ME. You should be fine til XP comes.
