Firewire Drives

Hi!

Is it possible to exchange data from Mac to Pc and the other way using a firewire drive? is there a fileformat on that drive that is seen by both systems???

If not, what could i use?

perhaps i should mention that the drive would be an external HARD DRIVE! ;-)
any hints?

format the drive fat32. tell the studio where you're going to make sure they have the latest firewire and pc exchange extensions. also, be prepared to format on the mac (just in case) so you're also probably gonna want mac opener (http://www.dataviz.com/products/macopener/index.html).
