I was trying to bounce down a soloed track to process it outside of pt. It worked but the end of the file contained a nasty digital fuzz. Real loud. I dont know what it is and I had no effects running on the track. This has happened 3 times now.
Anyone else ever get the same thing??

I had that happen when I opened a file recorded in PTLE and opened it in Wavelab, added FX's to it and it sounds fine then reimported into PTLE sounds fine then the next time I opened that session all it sounded like was static...
Somehow the file ends up damaged, I dont know why?

I used to have that too- sounds like switching channels on an old TV?
Fixed it by one of the methods below:
Try first:
Boost buffers to highest setting (1024) in Setups/ Hardware before bouncing.
If it still does it,
Try second...
add a second of blank space (by highlighting entire section to be bounced) at the end.
I did/do both and have not had the problem since.

El Matador,
I too have had similar problems. Like suggested, I highlight some area after the song when I bounce- which helps with the noise problem. Are you running a P4? What processor? AMIII or Digi 001? I'm trying to figure out if this problem is due to my setup.
Thanks,
M
