Hello. I'm all new here and looking for some help.

I've had my digi 001 for about a year now. It has worked fine, 24 track playback. Lately, i have been getting strange 'digital noise', intermittently, whenever I perform certain tasks in LE. If I disable a record enabled track, boom baby, noise for about five seconds. The meter on that track clips immediately, and then gradually recedes down to zero and stabilizes. Also, when i do record enable a track, sometimes I just cant monitor from that track although the meters are all in the green. It isn't a consistent thing either. I close LE and open it again, and it will work fine. Maybe it's a plugin I have...I will do further tests, but it sure is annoying. Any ideas?

I haven't heard of this one. Like you suggest, I think that removing plugins would be a reasonable thing to try. Also, I'd pull the 001 card, reinsert it, and reseat all the cables just to make sure. You've probably done that already, but hey.

Good luck,
Mark

Are you using an outboard mixer?
