001 & CM Motormix bank switching problem

Does anyone know a cure to this problem..

If I have say 24 tracks on an Edit or mix screen, I should be able to skip banks on the Motormix in groups of 8, so it goes across tracks 1-8, 9-16,17-24.

BUT what happens is it skips the middle bank, so it goes from tracks 1-8, then to 17-24. The only way to get to tracks 9-16 is to scroll across individual channels.

I have also tried this with the SAC 2k controller and it does the same thing.

Can anyone, especially Digi tell me what I'm doing wrong.

I know that in the controller-setup window you can actualy say how much faders your device has. It is in setups/peripherals/midi-controllers. There you can assign sending & recieving midi-ports, number of channels, and the device itself ofcourse.
