Odd behaviour,

After a record pass (from an in room mic), playback of all tracks is suddenly significantly hotter. 10dB or so. Happens 70% of the time.

Restart protools resolves the issue.

Any clues?

are you seeing this in waveforms or seeing and hearing the increase ... more info please ..

"Link record and play faders" unchecked in prefs?
