Import Markers from a wave file

I have a client who does a podcast. He's sending encoded wave files that have markers embedded for cutting cues. Logic and Reaper can see them. But I don't think they'll show up in PT.

My thought was to import into some other daw, make a midi track and export it, then import THAT into PT.

Is there any easier, more efficient way?

If they're standard WAV region definitions they'll show up in the import audio dialog.

Rich, what kind of files actually work (for example, bwf or straight wav)? I tried with a number of programs to create markers, regions etc. I've exported them and the markers/regions show up in other programs. When I import into PT, no dialog appears in relation to it. I'd love to be able to say to my client, "export this way" so it actually works inside PT. I've used PT a long time, just not in this way...
