Hi,

I've got a question, currentl I'm working with a pc (Quad 2.83 hgz and 4gyg ram)PTMP8 and a profire2626. Im busy with a project of my own to make a Binary universe/imogen/heap/lanois/eno kind a project album. But currently i've got a problem, I work a lot wiith the NI stuff like absynth, massive and FM8. I want to use kontakt for orchestal work, but it crashes a lot, with just 4 instances like viola, voilin double bass and cello, It kind of works but when I make a litle chance it crashes without out maxing all the cpu and ram stuff. I heard Macs a stable so what would be a good systems thats keaps on working. I can postpone the project a little so I can spent about 3000Euro over half a year.

ps sorry for the bad english

the new NI stuff works fine on my dated setup.

any recent (since 2007, Core2 Duo , GMA X3100 Graphics) Mac will do. Of course the newer the better.

If you need PCIe cards or lots of Harddisks you need a Mac Pro

If you donīt, and can live with external HDs, iMacs, MacMinis, and MacBook /Pros are just as fine.
