... If permitted, set the volume(s) in question to R (record) in the Workspace.
That is the message that I get when trying to open a new session. What am I supposed to do?
Thanks in advance!

Windows>Workspace - click on the T or P listed next to the drive in question and select Record from the drop-down menu.

Thanks! I tried with all my disks, it doesn't let me, says "it cannot be designated as an Audio Record volume because it is not a valid audio volume"

Thanks, I have followed the suggestions on that thread. Here is what I did:
- I went to Disk/Users/Username/Library/Prefernces/ and deleted the files and folders suggested (including Digidesign Databases)
- empty trash
- repair disk permissions
- restart computer
It still doesn't let me enable Play on any of my internal disks. Is there anything else that might make this work?
