I want my mac/softsynths to act as a sound module. I want to control my softsynth with my mpc2500. im using protools. im sequencing everything with my mpc. after im done sequencing a100 percent everything with mp. I want to record everything from softsynts/hardware to ptools.
how do i trigger the softsynth synth sounds w/ my mpc2500?
im going crazzy trying to figure it out.
in another thread a got said; but i d ont know how to do step 2 and step 3-im new to pro tools.
1) In pro tools, create an instrument track and insert a virtual synth.
2) Set the midi INPUT of this track to DIGI002 Ch.1 (or what ever ch. you are sending from the MP)
3) Set the midi OUTPUT of this track to synth ch. 1
4) ARM the track <--important.
