It's been a while;
Yep; I'm on a mac now; still have my i7 rig; but testing the waters on the other side.
I bought the new mac mini server edition (core 2 duo 2.66, 4gb ram and two 500 gb 7200rpm hd's) which suits my needs just fine for remixing. Record/Reason, Reaper are A-OK.
Now I want to put protools to task.
Just curious as to whether I need to install 8.x first then use the updater; which btw; is big 1.9gb?!
