I just upgraded my gear by purchasing a PowerMac OS X G5 Tower. But I am having issues syncing it up to my Project Mix I/O M-Powered 7.4 System. It Keeps telling me that "it is unable to locate M-Audio hardware" even after I installed the Protools 7.4 disk. I already went online and upgraded to 7.4.2 and it is still giving me the same response.

The tower information is:
PowerMac G5
Dual 2.0 Processors
Memory 1GB
Hard Drive 80GB
Optical Superdrive
Ports-FW 400/800
USB 2

Thank you for your time and help.

Miguel

Did you install the proper driver for the ProjectMix IO from the M-Audio website?

I'd direct you to the proper one, but I don't know which OS version you're running...

In any case, you can find the drivers here:
