When I plug the Fast Track Ultra USB cable into my laptop the computer crashes; seems to require the computer to be off, connect USB to Fast Track Ultra, then restart computer. I'm not talking about Pro Tools; just using the M-Audio as an audio interface.
Is this just a fact of life with this unit? I used to be able to just plug my Mbox in and start working. (Old days; OS 10.4) Restarting is not a huge deal, but clearly easier to not have to do that every time the interface is needed.
