how do I get 7.4.2 on my new 21.5" imac? all I see are cs updates that say a prior vsn must be on the computer. Is there a link to download the entire program?

New + Mac always = latest version of PTLE.
Your going to need 8.0.3cs2 cs more than likely. I don't think any of the newer i5 and i7 iMac are qualified yet either.

Joey I'm pretty sure that 8.03 is the first version qualified with Snow Leopard.

yea, bummer. OK, so if I upgrade to 8.0 for 150 bucks or so, will I be able to download a full vsn of 8.03 with no install disk at all??? I will purchase ilok license off of my ebay guy, register it with avid and sync the ilok with the new license for 8.0. Will I eventually get a full vsn of 8.03 DOWNLOADABLE?

yes, avid/digi will have a full standalone installer for download in your AVID account.
(not store, not DUC,... the other account ;) )
