Transfer PT8 license to another ilok account

Hello everyone. This is my problem:

I've bought PT M-Powerd 8 with iLok and license on it. The seller gave me his account name and password so I have access to ilok account. My question is can I erase PT license from his account and move it to ilok device olny, then load this license to another account which I will create? Can I do this for free? Or maybe is another way to move license from seller ilok account to my ilok account?

if you can only delete "license assets" aka licenses that are not transferred from your iLok account to iLok dongle, yet.

Moving licenses between iLoks registered to to the same account is free.

Moving licenses between iLoks registered to a different accounts cost $25 per license.
You can ask iLok to moce a complete iLok content for something like $100 but you
have to specifically contact them.

There is/was also to option to register a new iLok to one account, move all the licenses and unregister it again within one week.
But I am not sure about the current status.

So best is to read all the EULA etc. from iLok TWICE to make sure you know what you are doing - really!

Losing something that has to do with iLoks is losing it forever.
So if you LOSE your iLok you´re busted big time.

Now I clearly see that my only right option is to buy new ilok.
