I was just playing around with my new Motu MTPAV , closing and opening PT. Sudenly I could'nt start PT anymore. I press on it and bummmm error 199.
I have Logic Audio and I know that it uses DAE . SO I thought if it loads the plugins that means that DAE is fine and PT file is corupted. So I drag and droped from CD 5.0 only the Protools icon , replaced and ...tadaaaaa is working just fine.
It may work in your situation. I searched around in DUC and there is not to much info on this problem .Hope this works .
