Best Mac OS For Pro Tools

I am running Pro Tools V4.3 with
TRoolbox V1.1 with an audiomedia card On a power mac G3 desktop what is the best Mac OS to use with this setup? I have been running 8.5.1 for about a year and 1/2 bur recently had a catastrophic
Hard drive crash and need to reload the system and I can't findanything lower than V9.0 from apple

i would not recomend you use 9.0. I had problems with a lot of Audio-related apps.

I have used 9.0.4 and recently i'm using 9.0.2 wich has been working great for five months until now. http://duc.digidesign.com/ubb/images/icons/frown.gif but don't worrie, i dont think the problem i'm having has something to do with the OS, has it?

I don't remember who nor when, but someone recently mentioned a site where you can buy earlier Mac Os versions.
Try to make a search in the DUC, it was no more than 20 days ago.
