G4/PT24/Digiperf 2.7 Question

I have the oddest problem happening intermittently: audio being played back from Digital Performer thru PT 24MIXcore (2 888's) seems to warble slightly (getting faster/higher pitched and slower/lower pitched) like an old cassette. I'm running DP 2.7 with freemidi and a serial MTP/AV box which receives house video sync, OS 9.04, latest digi drivers, etc.

Has anyone even heard of this kind of thing before? It just happens and goes away and I have no idea why. I don't run ProTools software often enough to have noticed any problem there.

-It sounds like you are feeding SuperClock to Pro Tools via the MTP AV.

-Remove the SuperClock connection between the MTP AV and 888 and switch to "Internal" Sync Mode in the Hardware Setup window.

-If the described behavior stops, then you may have a problem with the MTP AV.
