I am thinking of trading in my d24 card for the Mix core card and also trading the DSP Mix Farm for one of my DSP Farm cards.....
Does anybody know if I can have my old DSP Farm card and the new MIX Farm card together
Thank you for any replys
It works great. I've got a Mix core w. 2 older farms and I have several friends with Mix +'s (Mix Core & Mix Farm) who are also using the older farms in addition.
If you're using an expansion chassis you may have to get the older farms updated by Digi ($75.00 + shipping) to insure compatability with the expansion chassis.
I'm going to add a Mix Farm to my setup shortly.

Make sure the PCI chipset on the old farm is rev. QC or higher. If it is only a Q revision, Digi will update it for a nominal charge <$100.
I've had this done a couple of times. Everything works very well.
Hope this helps.

I ran a D24, Mix Farm, and 2 DSP farms in a 9600 for months without a single problem....

Mix Farm closest to the power supply, then D24 Card, then DSP Farms.

Dan's got it right, that's the correct order of the cards....
