7100/80 G3 upgrade issues

anybody know which slot the upgrade card
goes in when running PT III on 7100/80 0s 8.1
with digi expansion chassis with 4 farms, SC II card, and Nuverb.
Sonnet info sheet says upgrade card goes in PDS slot and video card goes in 2nd slot

The new processor goes in the PDS slot (it's just to the left of the three NuBus slots and usually has a video card in it). If you were using the video card in the PDS slot, it gets mounted upside-down in a bracket that takes up the space on the 2nd NuBus slot. A ribbon cable from the processor attaches to the video card.

If you weren't using the video card from the PDS slot, you don't have to install it.
