All these years without an "Export region to SampleCell". Please, Please, finally give us this, with a hot key!!
How many times have I had a lion roar, which is a region of a LONG file, that I've thought, "This would be great if I could quickly export this region's audio to SampleCell to work with". It used to work with Sound Designer II, why not SampleCell (a program still in use!).
Talk about having an edge over other software samplers, if PT had this, I wouldn't even consider other samplers. Of course this is extremely useful for Post & sound effects, but it is conceivably quite useful to Music folks as well.
At the very least, provide an automated feature that would:
1) Export the region's audio to a pre-determined (and REMEMBERED!!) folder.
2) Open that exported file in an Audio App of the users choice (also REMEMBERED as a preference!!)
