I get this error very frequently....but only when I playback in sync a movie.
My system:
9600/300 with XLR G3/300
D24 card
dsp card
<Empty>
Aurora Fuse
ATTO Single Channel
ATI Nexus 128.
2 Seagate HDs (ST19171W, ST19101W); I use one only for videos and the other only for audio.
Sometimes it happens that ProTools freezes when playing back a video for about 40-50 seconds and then continues playback, but sometimes it crashes giving error -11002.
I have to Quit and Restart the Mac since after this error, if I try to hit play, Protools says it cannot communicate with my hardware.
I don't use the ATTO extension and I've installed all the latest drivers for all my cards (at least the know drivers)
Help, please.
(it's very embarassing to have my client near that must wait for my Mac to restart several times during a session)
