I have a mix plus system,adat bridge,3 888/24
G4 dual 500/half gig ram,unitor 8 midi.
I have been able to successfully transfer my
adat tracks to pro tools,,but when I finalize a mix and try to bounce to disk ,I get DAE error 39.What is it? How can I correct it?
Would it be possible to post a complete list
of all the error messages ,possible causes and cures..I think it might be helpful in troubleshooting, without always bothering tech support.
thankx

Is this a -39 or a 39 error?

-39 is a System File error (eofErr)... something to do with EOF (end of file)... which probably means Pro Tools expected the file to be longer than it is -- check your drive with a utility.

39 ... I couldn't find a definition.

IS it DAE error -39? or just 39

Either way, the DAE is reporting a Mac OS error (2 digit codes are Mac system errors).
-39 is indicating you have a corrupted file on disk. Could be an audio file or a file within your system drive.
Try Norton or Tech Tool to check your drives thoroughly.

A great source of info on 2 digit error codes is the Mac Secrets book. they have one for most OS versions.

good luck
