Direct X Plugins For PTLE 6.4

Is there any way of using Direct X plugins with PTLE 6.4 - I have lots i use with Cool Edit Pro 2.1 and would be great if I could use them in Pro Tools.

No, there is currently No way, there is a VST wrapper for you to use VST plugins in the RTAS shell, I've heard no sucess stories, using the DX / VST wrapper, Wrapping it with the VST / RTAS wrapper.

I do remember a few people trying it, with no sucessfull results.

Yeah, you have to use the free ffx4 wrapper (http://perso.wanadoo.fr/vb-audio/us/products/dxrack/dxrack.htm) (at the bottom of that page), wrapped with the vst-rtas adapter (http://www.fxpansion.com/product-rtasadapter-main.php) from fxpansion.

The vst-rtas adapter is a must have, in my opinion, but I found that wrapping the dx wrapper with it just wasn't stable enough for me to use on a regular basis. Some others have had better experiences with it, though.
