They had us set up in front of the fireplace.(no stage).All was well until midnight when they all started throwing their glasses at the fireplace.(which I guess is a Greek tradition).We were standing in broken glass and ducking flying shards for about an hour,until we finally said enough is enough.
Well the greeks took serious offense to that and proceeded to grab our gear and huck it out the back door.
We never got paid,we were all cut and a lot of gear was trashed.We had lawyers after them,but they had better lawyers,and we got nada.I said never again.Looking back at all the New Years gigs I ever did, they all pretty much sucked the Big Bagonie.

I'm not sure, I may go out and here a great trad irish artist (high school buddy), but I may stay home and watch tv

It is -30 out and snowing.Would you venture out on such a night?

That is deadly weather if you hit the ditch.I can guarantee that tomorrow in the local news there will be a story of someone who broke down and decided to walk for help in their party clothes.Only to be found stiff as a board, dead, about a half mile from the car.
