I was just thinking the exact same thing today.
I dont thing there is a shortcout for switching between velocity and notes, but if it is for inserting notes quickly while you are in velocity layer, i found it just as easy to just copy an existing note and drag it to where you want it to have it. just alt and draging (or is it shift?) you ll know. the key for copying I mean.
The other thing , switching from pencil to grabber is another real cool Protoolssolution: If you use the grabber over a miditrack just push and hold the start key and u´ll have your pencil right there. and in case you need a raizor (spelt right?) you hold start and alt. or is it just alt. well youll find out. Its ********** great

In 6.7 there is a shortcut to switch between viewing regions and notes, etc on tracks.

strg is for copying isnt it? Im sometimes so confused.
Hello Mr Ray. That shortcut exists also in 6.4 which i´m on. I just cant figure out what its good for.
