"wake up, mama; turn your lamp down low"

I will be performing in my bedroom.

Just two of us, no audience. Sorry.

My gig was from 2PM to 4PM this afternoon. I was unloaded at home by 5:30 PM..... not 2:30 AM! What a switch. I can kick back for the rest of the evening with my wife and son. No dodging drunks on the way home. Cool!

I've played 25 out of the last 27 new year's.
Tonight was no exception.

I still love what I do, and am grateful to have raised a family playing music for a living.

Still, my heart tonight is with those around the world, affected by tragedy.

May the new year bring comfort, if not peace.
