Periodically only noise is recorded using Digi002

Just bought a new digi002 rack and everything seems to work fine. Periodically I having some problems though. The input signal and monitoring is ok, but when recording only noise is recorded. Can anybody help me out ? I am using Cubase SX 1.06.
