What's your setting for 'open ended allocation'? If you do a similar test without the aux tracks, does it take a long time to start and stop the recording?

Buffer at 128.... no wonder... that's low man!! and still got 32+23.... you should try one test with 1024.

I may be bad in math but isn't 31-23=8 for a total of 40 plug ins?

Well, I have 6.4 (no cs) with specs below. I get 32 + 23 aux, but the test, as I printed out the original Davec test, is with 1024 buffer.
