Sends and Bus's

can someone help we with what sends and bus's are exactly and how to use them. Im kinda confused in this part. I know you can add verb to another track and create headphone mix', jsut wanna know how to do it

Sends and Busses are used to route the signal to various destinations other than your main out's.If for example you wanted to add reverb to several tracks at the same time,you would create an AUX input,insert a reverb on it and then set it's input to a Bus and the sends output of the audio tracks to be effected to the same Bus.You then use the sends of the various audio tracks to adjust the individual levels being sent to the reverb unit.

If you have ever worked with an analog mixer, the concept is the same as your sends and Aux inputs for using outboard gear.
