Digital In on the 002

Hi - I have a sound card with a digital out and i have connected it to the digital in of my 002 - how do i activate the digital in - where do i go to analyse it -what channels does it come up on etc - just general question about this feature. any advice would be greatly appreciated - many thanks ronan in ireland!!!!!

by digital in do you mean S/PIDIF? you should check the I/O setups window in PT.

yes sorry i should have stated it spdif

then it should be under your I/O setup window. go there and try adding the spdif ins to the little chart thingy. then if you go to a track you should be able to select the spidif channel as your input.
