Focusrite Preamps LE 6.4

Hi can anyone tell me if there is focusrite mic preamps included with the LE 6.4 if so how do I access them - ps Im a new user to pro tools santa was very kind this christmas!!! many thanks ronan in ireland

Ronan, welcome to the DUC.

Mic preamps are hardware, and the only protools LE unit that has focusrite mic pres is the mBox. So if you got the mBox, you have focusrite pres. To access them, you would plug a microphone into them.

The other LE units, 001/002/002R have different mic pres, but you access them the same way; just plug a mic into them.

I'm not sure what version of the software you got with your unit, but the technical documents are included as pdf files and should be accessible from the help menu within the software. They are also freely available for download at This Link (http://www.digidesign.com/support/docs/).
