mLAN with 001??

can I use Yamaha's mLAN card in one of their digital mixers (01V96) and use it as the recording interface for Pro Tools as long as I still have the digi hardware connected to the computer? Or is it not possible to run other interfaces with Pro Tools.

I know you can't run two 001's or two 002s on the same computer, but I was just wondering if a non digi interface could be used with Pro Tools as long as the PT hardware was still present.

No, ProTools will only talk to the Digi interface.

yes, I know you can use ADAT, but that isn't using two interfaces, thats just using the 001's ADAT inputs to get a total of 16 inputs
